It all started on our ranch, founded in the 1870s.
Triple Crown D traces its roots to 1989, when Mike and Maria — Katie's parents — set out to solve a problem every rancher knows: finding equipment tough enough for daily ranch work. Too much of what the local market offered failed when it mattered most, and quality equipment was hard to source.
Rather than settle, they went straight to the manufacturers and trusted vendors — researching better products, building supplier relationships, and bringing in equipment that could handle real conditions.
The family ranch is a sixth-generation working cattle operation, homesteaded in the 1870s. Out there, failure was never an option — just another problem to solve. When something broke, you fixed it; when supplies were hard to find, you found another way.
Before long, neighboring ranchers were asking where Mike and Maria found their equipment. Triple Crown D became a trusted source for livestock and resource management, feed and mineral, irrigation and haying, and the operational equipment people knew they could rely on — a business built on trust, experience, and a real understanding of what working ranchers need.
Their daughter, Katie, grew up in that world — and founded Triple Crown D Supply to carry the family's hard-won standard into government contracting. She built the business on the same principles that earned its reputation: trust, integrity, accountability, and service.
